Training: Recognizing and Helping Students in Crisis: Using Faculty and Staff Crisis Resources
This course is designed for faculty and staff who work directly with students – either in or out of the classroom. Led by Greta Chambless, Associate Director of Clinical Services at AUM’s Counseling Center and Leslie Meadows, AUM’s Title IX Coordinator, you will gain critical insight into concerns that our students may encounter. You will learn about tools and approaches that you can use to respond effectively to best support our students who may be facing a crisis or safety concern. Participants will leave the session with a valuable resource that will be useful in recognizing and responding to students in crisis. This is a repeat session from February 16, 2018.
